Mcmaster Mufa Agreement

The detailed rules of the Agreement shall be set out in the Agreement of the Joint Committee. The Joint Committee: these and other issues will be discussed in the Joint Committee. This committee consists of three senior administrative officials – usually vice-presidents and deans of the university – as well as three representatives of the faculty association, usually the president, vice-president and chairman of the remuneration committee (during the years of salary negotiation). The Joint Committee serves as a forum to discuss issues of interest to the university, in particular academic issues and policies relating to the faculty`s terms and conditions of employment. The joint committee also has the authority to negotiate our annual compensation and benefit plan. In the absence of an agreement, both parties submit final offers to an external arbitrator who will choose one of the two positions.
